Carlos Irisarri

Secretary General

Carlos Irisarri is a junior at Tufts University, where he studies a combination of political science, philosophy, and history. He joined Tufts’ MUN team as a freshman and has been on TUMUN’s secretariat since his sophomore year.  Carlos chose to do Model UN because he truly believes TUMUN provides an experience in the world of MUN that he has rarely seen before. Apart from MUN, Carlos participates in several political discussion groups on campus and works as a light technician for Tufts' theater.

Ava Durant

Director General

Hailing from Potomac, Maryland, Ava is a self-proclaimed Washington, D.C. insider majoring in International Relations and Economics. Ava started attending Model UN conferences in early high school before attending college conferences at Yale and Brown, and has loved it ever since! She also finds her MUN passion in chairing committees and planning conferences for younger folks. When Ava isn’t participating in compelling MUN debate, you can likely find her reading 538 polls, complaining about her fake lactose intolerance, or showing somebody pictures of her cats. She is looking forward to an exciting TUMUN and hopes all the delegates have a wonderful weekend.

Connor Elliott

Treasurer

Connor Elliott is a sophomore at Tufts studying International Relations. Originally from San Francisco, California, his academic interests include international relations, music theory, and history. When not studying or working for MUN (where he is Fundraising Chair on top of the TUMUN Treasurer), he can be found spending time with friends, playing music, practicing for Tufts' Ethics Bowl team, or hanging around Goddard. He is extremely excited to be involved with this year's TUMUN!
