Scientists have quickly traced these messages to several objects traveling close to the speed of light, headed directly for the solar system. With speeds like that, there is no doubt that the objects are humanity’s first interactions with extraterrestrial life. The extraterrestrials will not arrive on Earth for nearly five years. However, the IGDC has been organized to deal with the immediate threat. Around the globe, there has been a significant rise in political turmoil and supposed alien sightings.
