General Assembly: International Olympic Committee
Following alarming statistics about the pollution and intense costs of hosting the Olympics, the IOC is reconsidering regulations for the hosts of the Olympic Games. Delegates will be grappling with making the Olympics accessible and desirable to host while also ensuring that humanitarian issues, sustainability, and economic feasibility are prioritized.

In addition, hundreds of athletes have been stripped of their medals over the last 100 years because they have been caught taking drugs. Delegates will be considering issues like the best way to test for performance enhancing drug use, what repercussions should be placed on individual athletes and their countries, as well as the IOC's stance on WADA (the World Anti-Doping Agency).
